In other words, IPSec connects hosts to entire private networks, while SSL VPNs connect users to services and applications inside those networks. There is no real 'preferred' as it depends on your used case. As said I found that SSL VPN usually works a little better for me, but your mileage may vary. The SonicWall should come with 1 SSL VPN license, why not set it up and give it a shot. I use GVPN and have found it easier to configure and use than SSL. Sid Phiilips wrote: The GVPN is a real piece of work on Windows 10, don't bother.I've had no issues setting it up on Windows 10 machines.

Oracle Client Windows 7 64-bit

I can't seem to get the scanner to pass over using the SSL VPN portal. USB connected scanner and you want it to save to a LAN, over VPN?

Does the scanner support saving to LAN? If not, you'll need something like dbeato is talking about. If it does support saving to LAN, all you need to do is get the VPN working so the PC is on the LAN. Then just save as normal.
